It’s been a while since I last posted. I’ve got lots of excuses, mostly just work, appointments and things that generally use up all my take up time. And, then there was Saturday’s adventures with the Typepad upgrades. All day Saturday I was really too weirded out to post. Every time I looked at my own or other Typepad acccounts, they were screwed, big time, most of the content missing.. partly legible. By late afternoon I was convinced that it
would never get sorted out and we’d all be starting fresh today or
whenever, but somehow, magically.. those litle tTypepad elves worked it
out. ( I’m a bit curious as to why my typing is in such a HUGE font
right now, but I’ll keep going, with faith and see what happens.) And
then there was this:
all of which take up lots of time. The ‘free’ ipod finally arrived.. without instructions. Those of you who have already mastered the little time eater won’t have too much sympathy, but it took me parts of three days to get music on and off the thing. I went online, okay!! Cindy went online!! There wasn’t much that you could just put your fingers on and follow. Sheesh!
The Kite Runner is worth the time, a must read that I must read fast, having waited until days before it’s due back at the library, no
extentions.
ahhhh…. spinning. It’s been a month and I am only just realizing
that I did get some worthwhile stuff out of that Alden Amos
workshop. I’ve been using the long draw all weekend (and most of the
past couple weeks). My spinning isn’t THAT much faster but I’m liking
the results.
And for no good reason, except that I’ve been noticing all these simply wonderful close up shots circulating around blogland, I decided to download the manual to my Olympus, why shouldn’t it be able to get that close.. ?? It can! I just lost put the manual in a very safe place when I got the camera a couple years ago and it is still safe. Unreal!
And then there is this: ( yes, the foot IS longer than the cuff.. it’s that size 9 thing again)
oh, and Steph is probably right when she says that showing the sock a good time does not insure a speedy completion of the sock, but it sure does make it more fun! Quite.

My MIL sent me KiteRunner when I was on foot rest. It’s a powerful book. I had to gird myself to get through some parts. If you run out of library loan time, you can borrow my copy.
Congratulations on not even a hint of SSS. I’ve got you on foot size though.
(The socks always do look a little….odd, I know.)
There is nothing intuitive or easy about loading up the Ipod. I’ve often wanted to drown the sucker. But when it works, it is amazing.
Download books on the Ipod, works great.
Have a nice fourth.

I have enjoyed the sock’s journey…not so sure if it knits “itself” up any faster, but it is amusing!!!
love, love, love the sock! Mine are not nearly so nice. I must inspect the gauge you are getting. su
