As it turns out, the pattern was right. I had to prove it to myself so I spent hours charting it.
It's so much easier for me to see the cabled patterning in chart form. Everything falls into place and generally a glance is enough to know what comes next. More than a couple years ago I purchased the Intwined Pattern Studio software. This was the first time I tried using it. There wasn't any hair pulling or teeth gnashing. It'll take some time to work out how to use all the features, but for a simple chart like this one, it worked great.
Once I was sure it worked, I went ahead and plugged it into the Knit Companion app. The sliding row marker is wonderful for TV knitting. Isn't technology grand?!
It is grand! I usually blow up a pattern chart and then color code the cables so I can “see” where they travel and the all of the crosses. Kudos to you for charting it out. I have the Knit Companion app, but can’t seem to get it to work properly. Again, I wish you lived closer. 🙂
There aren't many quiet walks this time of year. It is an art I haven't mastered. Maybe that's why the hunters use tree stands.

All those 'possibilities' slow me down. I have to stop and poke around.

Love your walks! Wish you lived closer. 🙂
Your woods look beautiful! …the canopy is starting to blanket the forest floor, and few more weeks and it will all be down.
I bet the fragrance of the woods is incredible. I used to bring fallen aspen leaves to fill bowls just for the aroma.

Great reflective photo- spheres and water. Yikes that’s cold! Was in the 20’s here. The fuchsia finally succumbed, but the Cigar flowers and the guaranitica Black and Blue are still powering along. The hummingbirds loved them!
Cold weather walks is where you lose me. I believe that Indoors was invented for a reason…
14 degrees!
squinting from here…trying to see if there is a skim of ice on the pond….time for mittens 😀
Very enticing to walk with that type of view.
I love the globes
